I got the ETS and ELS surgery both in 2025 and I’m very happy with the results! Dr Basseri and his team are incredibly supportive, kind, and willing to answer the million questions you may have (like I did).

Dr Basseri walks you through the entire process and is always a text or phone call away to help with anything (pre and post op). I would recommend them to anyone interested in getting rid of their hyperhidrosis because they are the best. I have never received better care from any other doctor before. 10/10 recommendation!

I was so happy to have found The Center For Hyperhidrosis when I did! I’ve dealt with hyperhidrosis for 27 years, and I had no idea that there was even a diagnosis or that it could be treated effectively. I tried all of the creams and treatments that were available, and nothing really worked at all.

I was surprised to hear that Dr. Basseri said that I would be able to go home that day [for the foot surgery].

I certainly had a difficult recovery from the hand surgery, as my lungs felt weak for [some time] afterward, and the pain management was a bit tricky for the first two days.

I expected similar recovery time and treatment from the Center For Hyperhidrosis, and if I’m being honest, I wish that they did offer this.

Because most people are flying in for this surgery. They are often getting into an Uber and going back to their hotels to recover, when I find that it probably would’ve been much more comfortable and made me feel safer to have been able to stay in the hospital, or facility overnight.

However, the process was very smooth with Dr. Basseri and his team. I flew in on Thursday morning to Beverly Hills, I went in for my [in-person] pre-op consultation, and this went very smoothly!

They walked me through every single step of the surgery, and the process and the recovery, and showed me where everything would happen and [talked to me about] all of the little details that might have slipped beforehand.

Everything went super smoothly for my surgery. I had massive anxiety, and they helped me with that and gave me [something] for that.

I don’t remember much from the day, but I do remember waking up immediately with dry feet, and my feet have not sweat again since then!

After the surgery for my hands, I was left with a lot of compensatory sweating in areas of my body that I normally did not sweat before, but after this surgery, I found that overall compensatory sweating has gone down, which is an amazing, added bonus!

I also want to add that Dr. Basseri has been incredibly attentive and responsive. He really doesn’t go more than 10 minutes without responding to a text message whether it’s a question comment or really just [want] to discuss [something] we’re feeling uneasy about or [maybe] a side effect from a medication.

He makes himself very available, even right when he gets out of surgery, and I found this to be very helpful and made me feel so much more at ease, knowing that he was there if I needed him.

This is a great team of very passionate people, and they took amazing care of me. If you’re hesitating about having the surgery, I would just do it! It is absolutely life-changing, and I wonder if Dr. Basseri will share this technique in the future so that other doctors can help their patients around the country.

If you have hyperhidrosis, you know that it is a condition that affects every aspect of your life—taking a toll on your mental & physical health. When I was 16 years old I had the ETS surgery and it changed my life for the better so when I found out there was another surgery (ELS) for my feet I was thrilled! I was also a little nervous since Dr. Basseri is the only surgeon in the country offering this procedure and to be honest it sounded too good to be true. With that being said, as soon as I did the phone consultation and thereafter met him in person I knew I was in great hands. He’s one of the only doctors I’ve ever met that truly understands the gravity of this condition and can empathize with your personal, lifelong struggles. The procedure went perfectly and now 3 months later there hasn’t been one drop of sweat from my feet and I’m sitting here getting a pedicure as I write this review. I know, incredible right?! When I say that I finally feel comfortable in my own skin I mean it. I’m no longer avoiding social outings, I can walk across the house without making puddles and I can wear all of the beautiful shoes I have always dreamt of wearing. The Dr’s and staff were so incredibly helpful! They helped me navigate everything I needed to coordinate with my insurance, made sure I was well informed and prepped for surgery, and they took great care of me after the surgery. Dr. Basseri even called me personally to check on me and make sure I was feeling OK. The nurses were very friendly and I knew I was in good hands.

I finally made the decision to do something about my excessive sweating in my hands, pits, and feet. I spent ten years avoiding ETS surgery because I spent too much time fearing it due to negative online forums about the procedure. Modern medicine and ETS surgery have come a long way and I wish I’d done this sooner. I had my surgery in May 2025 and it has absolutely improved my quality of life . My palmar hyperhidrosis is completely gone! Post surgery I have very minor compensatory sweating on my lower back (only when working out and in the heat) which is very manageable. This however, is nothing in comparison to the amounts I used to drip on my hands. I also knew going in what to expect after the procedure because it was thoroughly explained in my pre-op appointment. I cannot say enough how amazing my results have been and how much my life has improved post ETS. The center for hyperhidrosis has been life saving. I had the procedure for my hands in May 2025 and was also able to get my under arms addressed. Now no sweating of the hands or underarms. After many failed interventions for my daughters hyperhidrosis, I was told of a surgeon in CA that could help my child. Thankfully, I pursued it and made the call!

Dr. Brasseri and his team are the absolute best! My teenage daughter suffers/suffered from hyperhidrosis on her palms and feet, and after years of unsuccessful treatments she decided she wanted to look into getting surgery. We are coming up on two years since my daughter had the ETS surgery for her hands. Best decision ever! I don’t think that she would’ve been able to make it through nursing school the last two years having to put on gloves with dripping, wet hands. I underwent both the ETS and ELS surgeries earlier this year and the results have been life changing! I had surgery September 2024 with Dr. Basseri for excessively sweating palms. Dr. Basseri and the entire staff were exceptional. They were incredibly warm and made me feel at ease, waving away any anxiousness I felt awaiting the surgery. Did a lot of research on this surgery before setting an appointment and I was very scared due to lots of misinformation/horror stories online. Everybody from the receptionist at the front desk to the nurses helping me get situated were lovely people who made me feel extremely comfortable. I have noticed the compensatory swearing on my stomach but it isn’t nearly as bad as I expected, and a very worthy trade off for dry hands. I lived with sever Hyperhidrosis my whole life. 34 years of restrictions. For 34 years I felt like my body was a prison. Getting my nails done was short of relaxing. I had to take a fan with me and it would become painful. I couldn’t open doors because I couldn’t grip the doorknobs. I couldn’t even comfortably pet my cats. I had my surgery just over two months ago and it has changed my life! I’ve never felt more cared for than when I was at the Center for Hyperhidrosis. Each person I met was so supportive and willing to answer all of my many questions to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Basseri explained everything in detail so that I was aware of each part of the procedure, and what I needed to do prior and after surgery. He continued to reach out many times after my surgery to make sure I was doing okay. I never imagined that there was something that could fully take away my hand sweating but the second I woke up from surgery my hands were completely dry and they have been every day since. I would recommend this surgery to anyone who is struggling, as it really is the best decision I’ve ever made.

I have been living with sweaty hands and feet for as long as I can remember. I have always just tried to avoid shaking hands with people and have worn sneakers with socks. The Center for Hyperhydrosis changed my life. After I had surgery for both my hands and feet, my confidence levels changed. I accepted a job that I would never have even applied for prior to my surgery. Dr. Basseri and the entire team were wonderful. They walked me through every step of the surgery. Dr Basseri and his staff are the best. My daughter had her hands done in 2023 and her feet in 2024. It has changed everything for her. Dr. Basseri performed my surgery for sweaty feet 4 years ago and it was one of the BEST decisions I made – life changing! I suffered my entire life until that point, shoes were a disaster and I was frustrated and embarrassed on a daily basis. If you suffer from excessive sweating, schedule your surgery and get it taken care of ASAP! I have not had any compensatory sweating or negative effects of any kind. In fact, I swear it helped improved the sweating of my hands a bit as well (even though the doctor told me typically it doesn’t, I feel like it did because the one would sometimes trigger the other somehow!). Go to LA and have this done by the best!

The ETS surgery has completely changed my life, I didn’t even realize until after I had it that it took away my biggest insecurity.
I couldn’t be more thankful for Dr. Basseri and the entire K & B surgical center for making this an extremely comfortable experience. If you are experiencing hyperhydrosis just know you are not alone and i think this surgery is life changing! The surgery is very expensive if your health insurance doesn’t cover it which was my case unfortunately. But now after doing the surgery it was 100% worth all the money, I can now live my life completely confident, comfortable and stress free!

Dr. Basseri was absolutely wonderful! I had both ETS and ELS and it has been absolutely life changing. I am in Culinary school and everyday has been better. I can wear gloves, roll out dough without being worried and serve guests without my hands dripping and making fingerprints all over the plates. Thank you for changing my life! I suffered from hyperhidrosis for 44 years. If your reading this review you have found the right doctor. Dr Basseri and his team are very accommodating and Professional. Communication through the whole process was second to none. My surgery results produced hands that no longer sweat. MY hands have not sweated since my surgery. Weather it’s your feet armpits or hands Dr Basseri can make this problem go away. I would recommend the center for hyperhidrosis to anyone seeking relief from non stop sweating and mental circles this disease creates. This surgery center exceeded my expectations! Everyone was so kind and Dr. Basseri explained the whole procedure in great detail and really helped me feel comfortable. There were no secrets and everything was very upfront and straightforward. The nurses were as gentle as they could be and were on top of things from start to finish. The center even helped me stay up to date on the whole authorization process for the insurance before the surgery which can usually feel like a hassle. Dr. Basseri and ALL of his staff and I do mean ALL of his staff are all so kind, patient and always available if you have any questions or concerns. My procedure was smooth and so worth it. My hands are never dripping, I don’t need to keep a towel to wipe them off anymore and I don’t mind holding hands or shaking hands anymore.
